Try to make at least one person happy every day. If you cannot do a kind deed, speak a kind word. If you cannot speak a kind word, think a kind thought. Count up, if you can, the treasure of happiness that you would dispense in a week, in a year, in a lifetime!

This is what I believe:
That I am I.
That my soul is a dark forest.
That my known self will never be more than a little clearing in the forest.
That gods, strange gods, come forth from the forest into the clearing of my known self, and then go back.
That I must have the courage to let them come and go.
That I will never let mankind put anything over me, but that I will try always to recognize and submit to the gods in me and the gods in other men and women.
There is my creed. ―

BEAUTIFUL!
The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven.

I actually just read about this theory while reading Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Committed” (Which I don’t recommend unless you’re looking for lots of facts and sparse narrative). Its a lovely sentment!

Everything has been figured out, except how to live.
